Initially, it's not easy to perform even the basic operations. There are more than 30 buttons on the menu bar and many of them link to features you'll only use once or twice if you use them at all. Luckily, you can customize several parts of the menu to make it fit your style. You can change what file folder the program starts with and the size and style of your file icons. Gramps Genealogy even lets you set your Gramps Genealogy and menu buttons for easier navigation.
